At Rooted Outdoor Living, I don’t just design landscapes. I design outdoor spaces that feel like they belong—to the house, to the property, and most importantly, to the people who live there.  Every project starts with a thoughtfully crafted, color-rendered, to-scale design. It gives us a chance to see the big picture before we start digging and to work through everything from the layout and flow of the space to the plants, the hardscapes, and all the little details in between.

But the design isn’t set in stone. It’s a starting point. We work through it together, making adjustments along the way until everything feels right. I’m always thinking about the balance between beauty and function—how the space looks, how it feels, how you’ll actually use it, and how all of the pieces work together.

At the end of the day, I don’t want you to have a landscape that simply looks good in a photograph. I want you to have a place you actually want to use.  Maybe that means coffee on the patio in the morning, dinner outside with friends, a garden you love tending, kids running through the yard, or a quiet spot to sit at the end of a long day. The best landscapes become part of everyday life.
